Unconditional Love
Is highs and lows, wins and losses dependent on others telling you that yes you heard from God? It is dependent on what God has spoken to your heart, backed up by His word and His word alone. People can confirm what God has said but in reality, your relationship with Christ is YOURS alone. Let God be your shepherd, your measuring stick for yourself. John 10:27-28 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. This right here says that if you are His child and you proclaim Christ is your savior then you hear from HIm. God wants to speak to each of us. Our relationship with Him is just as valuable, powerful, needed and wanted as His relationship with a pastor, deacon or elder. Do you need a measure of how a person is growing in God?
